Akira...I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Yes, Wall Drug is especially for families and children.

When in Denver, the areas to see are really outside of Denver.

Near Colorado Springs visit Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy. Near Denver you have to see Rocky Mountain National Park and Mount Evans and Pikes Peak are also nice. Pikes Peak is the most famous mountain in the west.

When you pass through Minnesota take a short detour for some scenery at Rochester.

Take highway 63 north to Lake City, Minnesota. This is located on the Mississippi River. Then go south following the Mississippi on Highway 61 until you get to Wabasha, Minnesota. At Wabasha, cross the Mississippi into Wisconsin. You will be in Nelson, Wisconsin. Then turn south on Wisconsin 35. You will see a cheese factory and you can watch them making Wisconsin cheese right before your eyes.

Then continue south to Alma, Wisconsin. Here you can see Mississippi River boats passing through locks at the lock and dam at Alma.

Also at Alma, you can drive up to Buenavista Park, 500 feet above the river and look down on the town and over the river.

Then continue on south, following the Mississippi until you meet highway 90 again. Then take highway 90 east from LaCrosse to Wisconsin Dells.

Akira,

You're doing just fine in uploading messages. In this forum, you're in the right section -- United States. You may also want to access some of the other forums -- perhaps there's a forum for your profession or area of work?

Please keep us informed.

Akira...The best part of your trip is probably in Colorado so take your time when seeing the Rocky Mountains.

Hi!
I arrived at Denver in rainy yerterday.
Now, I'll go to Rocky Mountain National Park.
I went to bed soon last night, because I was a little tired.
So I have typed and sent this just now.
I am fine now. Don't worry!
Thank you. So long.
Akira, Jul. 30, Denver.

Hi!
I'm drinking CA wine at Loveland. My perty is dreaming now.
We spent a half day in Rocky Mountains.
Rocky N'l park was rainy, but it brought us so deep interest.
We walked in a quiet forest and around the mistily lake, we were covered by the mysterious atmosphere.
The murmuring of a streem, of leaves, of stones, these silent sounds sank into my mind.
It was so cold, but the rain drops gave me someting to worm my heart.
What is it? What is a worming heart?
I think it may be a nature energey of coming close a mind.

I have felt like this, at Grand Canyon and Monument Valley and etc..
I love these place of interest.
I typed the feeling about these place, and upload to Japan's networks by Japanese from the motels in U.S.A..
I also want to upload these to Compu-Serve by English. But It may be difficult for me.

Dennis,
I think to go to Rapid City tomorrow, if possible.
If I cann't arrive there Monday, I'd like to visit Wall Drug Tuesday.
I'd like to have only time for shaking your hand.

Thank you.
Akira Kamita, Loveland.
